Tucked away at the far end of our park and overlooking the peaceful Castlemaine Botanical Gardens nature reserve, our 60’s Vintage Caravan offers a nostalgic getaway with all the modern touches. Perfect for couples or solo adventurers who crave a blend of retro charm and nature-based glamping, this one-of-a-kind stay is your gateway to Castlemaine’s vibrant music, artisan and foodie scene.

Inside you’ll find a comfy double bed, cosy dining nook with table and chairs, bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and reverse cycle heating and cooling to keep you comfortable in any season. While the caravan doesn’t include a private bathroom, our modern, well-equipped amenities block is just a short stroll away for showers and toilets.

It’s all the fun of a classic road trip without having to hitch a van – plus direct access to Castlemaine’s legendary vintage stores, artisan coffee spots, and creative energy. Whether you’re here to relax or explore the town’s colorful culture, our vintage van makes the perfect retro-chic base.

Wonderful place to stay. We have stayed here more than a dozen times over more than 15 years and can honestly say that it's probably one of our favorite parks. The layout is superb, it's close to the Botanic Gardens, the Mill and some great pubs. The staff are always friendly; the park is always clean and has plenty of activities. It's a hidden gem and one we will just keep coming back to in all seasons. Credit to the owners past and present it's a pleasure to visit.

We stayed in the Safari tent. Big4 Castlemaine is a great place for family's and kids and your doggo too. It's safe to let them explore and have fun. Staff we're friendly and accommodating. The facilities are excellent and well maintained. It's a great opportunity to meet and make new friends.
