Jirrahlinga Dingo Conservation & Wildlife Sanctuary

A memorable wildlife experience in the Chewton bushlands just outside Castlemaine. Jirrahlinga is a not-for-profit sanctuary focused on conservation, education and animal care. You’ll see a wide range of native animals including dingoes, koalas, wombats, birds and reptiles. Join ranger-led encounters and learn more about the animals and the sanctuary’s important work.

Thursday to Tuesday. Also closed on Total Fire Ban Days.

The park itself is beautifully maintained and a short walk to the Mills complex and an excellent pub. Staff are friendly,  helpful and welcoming.
