Sitting by a crackling campfire is what a country getaway is all about and it is certainly a special part of your holiday with us during the colder months.
Campfires and fire pits are permitted at certain times of year. We do not allow fires during the Country Fire Authority’s (CFA) declared Fire Danger Period for our region, and we ask our guests for their understanding regarding this. Please check with reception and we’ll happily let you know what’s permitted during your stay.
We have fire pits available for hire for guests staying on our sites, with firewood and kindling also available to purchase. Site guests are also welcome to bring their own fire pit, provided it is a designated fire pit or brazier, collects the ash and is raised at least 25cm off the ground.
Guests staying in our Villas, Studios or Glamping accommodation can enjoy our communal fire pit area on weekends from late autumn through to early spring, depending on the weather and restrictions. You’re also welcome to hire a fire pit to use within this space. Read more about our communal campfire here.
