Come and sit for a while by our communal campfire. Bring a glass of good local red, toast a marshmallow or two, make some S’mores, meet fellow travellers and share some stories. Or simply enjoy the beautiful views across the gardens and the shadows of the winter sky.
We light the communal fire for guests on chilly weekends from late autumn through to early spring, subject to the weather, local fire restrictions and outside the Country Fire Authority’s declared Fire Danger Period for the Mt Alexander Municipality.
Group bookings can speak to us about arranging a fire and using the communal campfire area for a group gathering.
And if you’re after a little privacy or want your very own fire, you’re welcome to hire a firepit from us for use in the campfire space or on your powered or unpowered site. Just speak to us and we’ll make it happen. After all, we know an open fire with someone special by your side makes a perfect holiday memory.
